Newton Laws for Software

This is so funny and true :)

Law 1. Every Software Engineer continues his state of chatting or forwarding mails unless he is assigned work by manager.

Law 2. The rate of change in the software is directly proportional to the payment received from client and takes place at the quick rate as when deadline force is applied.

Law 3. For every Use Case Manifestation there is an equal but opposite Software Implementation.

Law 4. Bugs can neither be created nor be removed from software by a developer. It can only be converted from one form to another. The total number of bugs in the software always remains constant.

Laziness and Me

Well I created this blog thinking it would act as an medium to eliminate my laziness. Apparently nothing seems to help in overcoming my laziness. Its been more than six months since I blogged. I am very proud of being inconsistent :D. I am trying to be optimistic.
I am wondering whether my profession made me lazy or since I am lazy I chose this profession. Ya I am a Software Engineer/Researcher. Laziness is born here.
So curious I just researched, surveyed and contemplated what are the qualities of a software engineer :) What else can you think if you are jobless over an weekend.
To my surprise I found that many people believe the first and foremost virtue of a programmer is laziness. Yes, you heard it right being lazy is a virtue for a programmer. I found a saying that "Laziness is directly proportional to the amount of code written by the programmer".
Well now at least I have one answer to justify my laziness :D and I am happy I am doing justice to my profession.

Disney Gave Me Unrealistic Expectations of Men

Fairy Tales made me dream for a true love from the childhood. Every girl dreams of herself as a princess waiting for her prince and a happily ever after story. It all felt possible until my childhood, seeing only the Prince Charming Eric as my Prince. Which means I did fall in love with those characters and waiting for a guy who is sweet, romantic and handsome like the Disney Prince. A Prince for whom you could die for. When you are a child there are always endless Possibilities for you to dream. The dream so colorful and beautiful. I never feared of dreaming. Disney also portrays that,
"Dreams do come true" But is it really true?
Days passed by, and I became a women, right time for my prince Charming to arrive. Now wait a minute! Did I say I am waiting for prince Charming. Hm mm, Is that a reality??? I met a lot of frogs in my life, but never felt a Prince in them. Is my expectation of a Prince being too much influenced by fairy tales. Am I am still a fairy tale princess waiting for my prince? Am I living in reality or not. This question scares me a lot! Is it too much to ask for true love. Does the society we live in have a atmosphere for love? Love has become a trade, a part of duty. Here a person gets attracted to another person although he/she is already in love. Is love a desire of heart or mind? Do people get too much influenced by choices in life like, Which computer is better in market? Which cosmetics are good for you? Do they even feel the same about selecting a partner and switch over when they made a wrong choice. It makes me wonder; Is love influenced by the society we live? During ancient days, when there where no choices in life and there was only one type of every object, I think there was only one true love. When time passed by, there was evolution which led to different categories of same object. This made the society get used to switch over from person to person. Does waiting for true love in this type of environment make sense. So should I also get married to some body one day because he felt I am a better choice compared to any other women he met. Can there never be true love in this current world? I seem to be a anachronistic. Today's life made it easy for men. They don't have to cross seven seas and mountain to meet their princess. They can find them even in a super market. If the gal doesn't like this prince then the prince starts to look for another gal and vice versa. It doesn't hurt them. I always believed a prince will love his princess until his death and there can be only one true love seeing Fairy tales. Finally I realized that Disney has given me an unrealistic expectation on men leaving me in confusion between the dream and reality.

Father

The greatest gift I ever had
Came from God; I call him Dad!

He is best friend of mine. I always admire his intellectual ability. Its mind blowing!!!
I always used to wonder, Can I be like him any day in my life.
Well.. the answer i always get in my mind is a No!!.
Its so strange why i am not able to be like him..
He is full of energy 24/7, punctual, professional and i am totally opposite to that.I love the following quote,

A father is always making his baby into a little woman. And when she is a woman he turns her back again. ~Enid Bagnold

Its so true that i am always a baby in front of him. Its always a good feeling to be pampered by someone and if that my dad it makes me more happier. I get so much of confidence thinking about this person, no matter what happens i have my dad to take care. Well it helps me to over come my pressured situations and helps me to perform better.

"He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it"

On whole he is friend, philosopher, guide and role model.

To me he is the greatest strength and weakness. No mater what i will become like him one day and make him proud.

Love you Dad!!!!!!!!
